Special Education Advisory Committee

What is SEPAC?
  • It stands for Special Education Parent Advisory Council
  • Our Mission Statement:
Promoting and helping to facilitate a network for parents of children with special needs and disabilities, and providing a forum to share information and discuss matters of relative interest and concerns.
  • Our Goal:
As a parents of children with special needs, we and the pro-fessionals that assist with our children, need to work together as a team. When we work with the school district, the ed-ucators and the support staff with a civil dialog, we can make a difference for our chil-dren’s experiences in school and preparing them for their life’s journey.
  • Who are we?
We are parents just like you. We come from different backgrounds and are in different professions, but we want the same things for our children.
All we want to do is help shine a light for our children so they may be able to navigate the difficult path of life. With friendships and networking amongst ourselves and the professionals that we come in contact with, we should be able to see our children become productive self-reliant adults within our community.  Meetings are held every second Wednesday.
