The Oxford High School community and Art Teacher Mrs. Taborda are pleased to announce that Oxford High School Students Erin Reid, Class of 2017 and Brianna Higgins, Class of 2016 are entering original works of art in the annual Congressional Art Competition.  The Congressional Art Competition has been hosted each year since 1982 to highlight the artistic skills of high school artists from across the country.  Erin and Brianna each worked hard under the direction of Mrs. Tabroda to produce original works of art which will be on display in Leominster City Hall on Thursday April 9, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and again on Friday April 10, 2015 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The piece of Art judged the best piece for District 2 will then be on display at the Capitol building in Washington, D.C. with winners from across our nation.  The winning student will receive round-trip airfare for two to attend the national reception in Washington.  Best of luck to our Pirate artists!
